We recommend this filter for your optimum performance in these situations. Ceramic outer layer with carbon inner. Dual purpose 0.2 micron nominal, 0.9 absolute filtration, 12 -24 monthly change depending on your water quality. Suits all 10 inch housings that take a 10 inch x 2.5 inch (25cm) cartridges.

Super Sterasyl Cartridges:
The Doulton sterasyl is a two stage cartridge combining the highly efficient filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties of activated carbon.

First Stage
The first stage consists of Doulton Sterasyl - ceramic which provides genuine sub micron filtration. The cartridge reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity. The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilising properties.

Second Stage
An inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine and organic compounds.
