1st STAGE - Doulton Ceramic 0.2 micron cleanable pre filter

The first stage doulton ceramic filter cartridge in the Twin Undersink System has two important functions:

1. Mechanically filters out harmful bacteria and parasites as well as dirt, rust and sediment.
2. Removing the above contaminants protects the Carbon Block cartridge allowing it to function more effectively and last longer.

2nd  STAGE - Multi-pure 0.4 micron carbon super block filter

The Doulton Twin Undersink replacement filter pack combines Ultra-fine ceramic technology with a premium 0.4 micron carbon block filter manufactured in the USA. The 0.4 micron carbon block filter effectively removes all chlorine, chemicals, pesticides, unpleasant tastes, bacteria and odour along with harmful heavy metals. Made from premium coconut-shell carbon therefor fresher, sweeter tasting water is ensured.

The Doulton Ceramic Superblock Undersink is self maintainable. If the flow rate slows, the Doulton Sterasyl ceramic cartridge can be cleaned easily with a quality scrubing pad under running water. Cleaning frequency will vary depending upon the water quality. The Royal Doulton sterasyl Ceramic Cartridge has been tested and certified by Standards and Testing Centre (No: HC109730) and the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF53).
