Doulton ultracarb ceramic water filter cartridge is the perfect filter if your needs are rain water, town water or where water maybe needing 5 star filtration. We recommend this filter for your optimum performance in these situations. 0.9 absolute filtration or 0.2 micron nominal rated. 6 to 12 monthly change depending on your water quality. Fully cleanable. Choose from either 9 3/4 inch or 9 inch sizes in checkout below.

Ultra Carb Cartridges:
The Doulton Ultracarb is a three stage cartridge combing the highly efficient filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties of activated carbon and the heavy metal reductions capabilities of ion exchange media.

First Stage
The first stage consists of Doulton Sterasyl - ceramic which provides genuine sub micron filtration. The cartridge reduces fine particulate matter, bacteria, cysts and turbidity. The incorporation of silver locked within the ceramic structure gives enhanced bacteriostatic and self sterilising properties.

Second Stage
An inner core of activated carbon block removes chlorine and organic compounds.

Third Stage
Ion exchange resin reduces Lead and other heavy metals.
